• Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the strategic direction of our Design System, aligning with product roadmaps and company objectives
• Component Development: Create, evolve, and maintain Design System components, patterns, principles, and libraries that ensure consistency across products
• Documentation & Advocacy: Develop comprehensive style guides, documentation, and specifications that effectively communicate our design language
• Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate efforts among product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the Design System aligns with all stakeholders' professional requirements and strategic objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback loops and metrics to measure Design System effectiveness and drive evolution based on user needs, technology trends, and emerging patterns
• Professional Team Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and support to a team of designers dedicated to our Design System, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

• 7+ years of UX/UI design experience with a focus on Design Systems and component libraries in enterprise software
• Proven experience building, scaling, and governing Design Systems in complex organizations
• Experience establishing Design System metrics and measuring success
• Experience working in agile environments and leading cross-functional teams professionally
• Strong understanding of design principles, interaction design, and visual design with the ability to create low and high-fidelity prototypes
• Technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with developers, including familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and design-to-code workflows
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and knowledge of version control systems
• Data visualization design expertise to strengthen our capabilities in this critical area
• Passion for creating accessible designs and experience designing for diverse user groups
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive initiatives from inception to completion
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
