IT-Operational Technology Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d)

As the IT/OT Technology Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating IT/OT infrastructure in a live production environment in order to ensure system reliability, support shopfloor users, and contribute to the secure and efficient operation of our production systems.

Aufgaben

Analyze cost drivers and inefficiencies across sites and units
Simulate financial impact of strategic and operational decisions
Benchmark performance to identify gaps and best practices
Monitor cost structure and variance (actual vs. plan/benchmark)
Maintain strict deviation tracking and escalate unresolved gaps
Propose targeted measures to reduce COGS and improve profitability
Provide independent, objective financial steering and benchmark-based transparency
Monitor financial gaps, escalate unresolved issues, and drive accountability for closure

Profil

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience, ideally in industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux, networks, storage).
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
Basic knowledge of virtualization and Active Directory.
Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
Willingness to support 24/7 environments and participate in on-call rotations.
Team-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
